ASPIRE celebrates our learning behaviours across the school and within class. We promote the values of:-
We have weekly assemblies at our schools on each theme per term. Senior leaders explain to the children what the learning behaviour focus for the week is and share examples of this in modern Britain or news stories.
In our celebration assembly each week, two children are chosen by the class teacher who have demonstrated the ASPIRE characteristics in their learning. They are rewarded with the corresponding certificate. There is a whole school display celebrating weekly winners in the main hall.
Teachers refer to these learning behaviours as they see them in class. In class, children are encouraged to use these behaviours and rewarded with a token, pom pom or gem for the whole class jar in each class which corresponds to the learning behaviour. Once the jar is full, the class has a reward which has been agreed by the class in a vote.
